A Babe was born innocent
Kings visited with gifts.
Shepherds with their sheep.
Loving and loved.
He died to save the world
Did He succeed?
How can we destroy a child?
Easy with a gun or a bomb,
But what about the soul of a child?
It is a sin, Christ said so.
To torment or cruelly abuse -
To deny love, kindness, pity.
The very root of life.
This world is slowly dying.
To deny the young we harm our souls
A tool of darkness growing in us.
Watch, listen, turn towards the light.
