The Word of God
The Bible is the Word of God,
Though many
years have seen it trod
Upon and cast aside.
Til in this year;
1-9-3-8
It’s seldom read and some men state
That it will not
abide.
The Bible is the Word of Love
Sent by the
Father from above
To serve us as a guide.
But e’en this year;
1-9-3-8
Will see God's loved ones reinstate
This Word that shall
abide.
The Bible is the Word of Life
That comfort
gives in time of strife
And may not be denied.
So that this year;
1-9-3-8
Will prove it is not out of date
For God’s word MUST abide!
